The gesture
One gesture, and it’s filed.
No copy-pasting, no forms. The Share button you already use is enough.
-
You share
From TikTok or Instagram, Share → tabi. The video keeps playing, you never leave the app.
-
tabi reads the video
The caption is combed for the venue name, the city and the kind of place. The address is then checked against mapping databases.
-
The spot gets filed
Category set, city matched, seal stamped. You find it in your spots, ready to drop onto the route.
The map
Your stops draw the route.
One trip, its cities, its days. Each stop lands on the map and the route traces itself. The spots you stamped wait right beside it, filed by city.
- Trip stop, numbered by day of arrival
- Spot imported from a reel
The budget
Two currencies, one total.
Log an expense in the local currency, read it in yours. Every amount keeps both readings: nothing is recalculated behind your back when the rate moves.
Rates come from the European Central Bank, via Frankfurter.
Japan, spring
9 days · 4 cities
Example, at a rate of €1 = ¥171.40.
Privacy
No trackers. No ads. Nothing sold.
tabi has no advertising business, so it has nothing to gain from following you. Neither does this site: no cookies, no analytics, no fonts loaded from someone else’s server.
- No location access
- tabi never asks for your phone’s position. Places come from the videos you share, not from where you go.
- No profiling
- No advertising SDKs, nothing sold on, no data cross-referencing. Your trips are visible to you alone.
- Only what a service needs
- The services that help pin down a place receive the link or the venue name. Never your email address.
- Deleted means deleted
- One button in settings erases the account and everything attached to it, immediately and permanently.
The next reel, you’ll file it.
tabi is coming to iOS and Android. The notebook is ready, it’s waiting for its first stamp.
